From the developer of the theme I use:
I did few tests and i think the issue is how the plugin handles the search , it is not a theme specific issue
This is the test i did to confirm this , you can do this yourself to confirm and discuss with the plugin author
1 ) I took a fresh wordpress install with 2017 default wordpress theme without any plugins
2) I created a page with some content using this plugin accordion
3) I created a post as well using accordion , this is to check both pages and post as some plugins support page well while others might work only for posts
4) then i searched that content with default wordpress search and i see the content is not searchable , so i don’t think this is a theme specific issue or any other plugin conflicting for you , this plugin itself does not allow to search the content
I was NOT able to add to my earlier question so I am posting this again.
In the past month, I have sent two e-mails with this question but no response…
I am using your plugin on this site:
None of content is searchable at this point, both within the site itself, nor through an external search engine.
I am wondering whether any tweak of your plugin would make that happen?
Thank you very much!
P.S.: Here is an article that shows that SEOs do NOW look for tabbed content:
P.P.S.: In the past your support was outstanding – I even wrote an endorsement at the time – I hope you will respond on your own site. Thank you!
